Cocolab is a Mexico City-based studio composed of artists in different fields of digital arts. Their work is a collaboration of creators that build unique audiovisual experiences for large audiences.

They develop their own tools such as software and hardware in order to enrich their audiovisual experiences with the purpose of expanding the possibilities of creation.

The studio has been exploring for the past ten years, the limits between the posible and the imposible with technology, making audiovisual installations a powerful way of communicating with the audience through sound and movement.

Cocolab has been collaborating and working in projects such as Disarm installation by Pedro Reyes, which is a automatized musical band made out of weapons that used to belonged to the drug cartels of the north of Mexico. Among others like, White Canvas, a light room filled with hundreds of light beams that explore the relation between space and light. Their work is been showcasing all over the world including countries like Brazil, Japan, Spain, Italy, UK, USA and Netherlands .

Cocolab believes that inspiration is the engine of any form of creation, so their purpose is to inspire people and inspire theirselves. To inspire and create is a virtuous cycle of which we want to be an active part.
